Audiobook maker Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Log With Me LLC ("we") for the Audiobook maker app (the "App").

1. Apple's standard terms apply. Your use of the App is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), which is incorporated here by reference, together with the additional terms below. Where the two conflict, these additional terms apply to the extent permitted by Apple's terms and applicable law.

2. Your content. You may only import documents you have the right to use. Audio, notes, study guides and other material the App makes from your documents are for your personal use and stay on your device unless you share them.

3. Downloaded voice and AI models. Some voices and AI models are downloaded at your request from third parties and are licensed by their authors under their own licenses, listed in the App under Settings › Acknowledgements. By downloading a model you agree to its license.

4. Supertonic voice use restrictions. The Supertonic voices use the Supertonic 3 model by Supertone Inc., licensed under the BigScience OpenRAIL-M license (full license). If you download or use them, you agree not to use them, or audio made with them, in any way that:

• breaks any applicable national, federal, state, local or international law or regulation;
• exploits, harms or attempts to exploit or harm minors in any way;
• generates or spreads verifiably false information meant to harm others;
• generates or spreads personal identifiable information that could be used to harm an individual;
• generates or spreads machine-generated information or content without saying it is machine-generated;
• defames, disparages or otherwise harasses others;
• impersonates or tries to impersonate others (deepfakes) without their consent;
• makes fully automated decisions that adversely affect someone's legal rights or create binding obligations;
• discriminates against or harms people based on their online or offline social behavior or personal characteristics;
• exploits the vulnerabilities of a specific group of people to distort their behavior in a way likely to cause harm;
• discriminates against people or groups based on legally protected characteristics;
• provides medical advice or interprets medical results;
• generates or spreads information for the administration of justice, law enforcement, immigration or asylum processes.

This is a summary of Attachment A of that license; the full license is what applies. If you share audio made with any voice in the App, you agree to say that it is machine-generated.

5. Optional services you connect. If you connect your own computer (for example, Ollama or a speech server) or a cloud service with your own API key, your use of that service is governed by its own terms and pricing. We do not operate those services and are not responsible for them or their charges.

6. AI-generated content. Answers, summaries, study guides, quizzes and overviews are produced by AI models and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information against the book itself.
